Featured Florist: Palace Florists in Dupont Circle

Palace Florists for Bloompop

Palace Florists has been a local, family-owned and operated Washington, DC florist for the past 70 years. Palace opened it’s doors in 1943 by Barney Klateman, who started the business selling fresh flowers from a kiosk with a refrigerator. It’s how Palace got it’s name - the business was located inside a long-gone ice-skating rink called The Ice Palace. Barney’s daughter, Donna, joined in the late 70s and still heads up the show today along with her son-in-law, Lee Herman. The close-knit family has assembled a team of top-notch floral designers like Jolie Joswick to continue their tradition as a DC floral institution. Located in Dupont Circle these days, you can visit them at their shop or order online via their Bloompop Shop Page here.
